Billy Reid Interviews David Zaritsky of The Bond ExperienceClothing, Collectibles, James Bond, Spectre

by David Z on November 4, 2015 with 14 comments

In 2012, Daniel Craig wore our Bond Coat as James Bond in the film Skyfall. The slim-fitting coat with horn buttons and leather collar detailing – so named for New Yorks Bond Street, home to our SoHo store – was already a staple in many of our customers wardrobes. But with James Bonds anointment, in a matter of speaking, came an all-new attention to the style. Weve since remade the coat in different colors and fabrics, and it remains one our bestselling pieces to date.

The latest Bond film, Spectre, hits theaters this Friday, November 6. This time, its not 007 who sports a Billy Reid coat but Q, his young Quartermaster responsible for designing and developing Bonds signature gadgets, weapons, and highly sophisticated computer security.…

Who Says All James Bond Fans are Men?James Bond, Spectre

by David Z on July 4, 2015 with 14 comments

Who says all James Bond fans are men? This photo is from Flora who is not only a James Bond fan but also a fan of The Bond Experience. We think she did an amazing job capturing the feel and look of the Bond poster…special nod to Viktor for some wonderfully talented retouching.

I love the fact that Flora refuses to let Bond be owned by the male fans.Know any other female Bond fans that let their passion show?

Short bio: My name is Flora Garamvolgyi. Im a hungarian fashion model living with a retoucher (Viktor Fejes) -who used to work as a photographer -and we thought it would be fun to do movie poster remakes .…

Daniel Craig: The Nightmare EmployeeDaniel Craig, James Bond, Spectre

by David Z on June 29, 2015 with 0 comments

Craigs depiction of James Bond would see him facing 贈1.5m insurance claims.

Forget licence to kill, if James Bond lived by the same HR rules as the rest of us he would barely make it out of the office hed be so swamped with paperwork, new research has found.

From eye-watering insurance and expenses claims to mountains of health and safety forms, if Bond was a typical employee hed spend more time pen-pushing than gun-slinging.

Ahead of the launch of Spectre later this year, office suppliers Viking, has gone back over Daniel Craigs three depictions of Bond. Applying traditional HR rules and regulations to 007 in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace and Skyfall, Viking found that Bond would be looking at insurance claims totalling in excess of 贈1.5million.…

An Interview With David ZaritskyJames Bond

by David Z on March 24, 2014 with 9 comments

I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by the good folks over at The Next Level Guy. Here are the 10 questions I was asked:

1) Can you tell me about your journey from normal dude to Bond guru? What started your journey on living your life like 007? Was there a defining moment that caused it? How has becoming more like James Bond affected your life for the better/worse?

2) What is it about the James Bond character that you feel makes him such a great role model for men?

3) What three tips would you give to the Average Joe to begin their transformation and become more Bond like?…

My Night as James Bond at the Presidents BallYour Bond Experiences

by David Z on February 12, 2014 with 17 comments

Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan hosts an annual Presidents Ball, in which we celebrate our schools excellence and honor those involved. The chosen theme this year was 007. When I first heard of this I was ecstatic, I am a major James Bond/Daniel Craig fan so I knew that this event was perfect for me.

I began by going to a local barbershop for men and requesting The Daniel Craig as advised by David Zaritsky in his YouTube series. The style looked great so next I purchased my very first tuxedo, I went with, The Ultimate Secret Agent Package from My Tuxedo Direct, the brand of the Tuxedo is Alexander Dobell, it came in a great package with everything you need and the customer service is phenomenal, it fits into the frugal Bond lifestyle at just over $100 for the whole package and it is supported by the 007 brand!…

My New Casino Royale WorkoutYour Bond Experiences

by David Z on January 27, 2014 with 7 comments

Greetings to all of the followers of the Bond Experience from your fitness/fashion model Thomas Newhard. Now that the holidays have came to a close, I’m sure most are now looking forward to the warmer months of spring and summer.

I wrote almost a year ago about my first James Bond workout and how to obtain that lean muscular look just as Daniel Craig managed to do throughout his series of Bond movies. It takes a lot of dedication and effort to do the schedule I had originally wrote up for fellow fans.

In an effort to make it more suitable for the working men and women of the world who cannot live in the gym while having to be at work on an 8 hour day/night or more, I have spent much time coming up with a few different variations.…

Meeting Jaws and Pussy GaloreYour Bond Experiences

by David Z on December 28, 2013 with 2 comments

Recently my wife entered a competition for the chance to meet Richard Kiel and Honour Blackman (aka Jaws and Pussy Galore) at the Bond in Motion exhibition at the national motor museum Beaulieu. Amazingly we won and on the appointed day we found ourselves and another lucky winner waiting for a VIP meeting with the stars. We were lucky enough to have about 15 minutes with them just talking and having our photos taken with them.

Richard is a lovely person and talked with my two young daughters about his part in their favorite kids animation Tangled, giving them both a signed still from the film.…

Commander B Jacket: My First Look and ReviewYour Bond Experiences

by David Z on November 12, 2013 with 15 comments

Like many Bond fans I’ve been looking for the original Skyfall Scotland jacket for the better part of the last year. After searching for and reading about sizes, costs and availability I had resigned myself to not being able to secure the jacket. Then, the Commander B version came out. Most of your followers now know that this version is nearly identical but with new branding and sans detachable hood. Still, same great material and styling. I decided to get it and completed the purchase from End Clothing.

Many eBay sellers mentioned to “size up.” I normally very comfortably wear a Large, mainly due to upper body and shoulders, and often I deal with a slightly baggy middle.…

by David Z on September 12, 2013 with 4 comments

I am very honored to be one of the featured articles in the Sept/Oct. issue of Philly Fit Magazine…of course there is a Bond spin to my journey of health and wellness. Here’s how it starts…

Meet David Zaritsky, an extraordinarily, hard working executive and President of Roska Healthcare Advertising; quite an accomplishment for a man in his mid forties. (A brief biography of his work history can be found at the end of this article). He is happily married and the father of two terrific kids, residing in Newtown, PA. As is all too common for many executives, all the intensity of climbing the corporate ladder leads to a pinnacle point in a successful career.…

Don’t Rock the (Quantum of Solace) BoatYour Bond Experiences

Kev Johnson

Recently my wife and I visited the New Forest National Park, situated on the south coast of England. We stayed at The Master Builders house hotel for several nights which overlooks a tributary of the River Solent. The rear enjoys beautiful views and at the bottom of hotel grounds is a gate which leads to the marina.

We took our dog max and in the morning would take him immediately outside the gate past an old boat that for all intents and purposes appeared to have been the victim of bad weather and been stranded on the bank side.…
