The original vesper recipe called for Kina lillet not lillet blanc. Unfortunately, kina lillet is no longer produced. However, Cocchi Americano is an aperitif that is still produced and is closer to the kina lillet than the lillet blanc. So if you want to get your Vesper to taste as closer to what Mr. Fleming had in mind I suggest trying it with the cocchi. Cheers!
