Don’t you think its a little sad and pathetic thinking that by going to all the effort and expense of dressing like a fictional film character, that it somehow improves you?
It s all at the whim of the film company wardrobe manager anyway, so if they dressed Daniel Craig in a pink thong , would you lemming like, follow?
The Emperor’s new clothes and all that.
Why not be lose the inferiority complex and wear what you want to wear and not be dictated to.
Wearing the clothes doesn’t suddenly change you into another person.
Be yourself!

I concur with Mark. What Dave does is a hobby and ifestyle, not unlike any other hobby and lifestyle. What Dave does with clothing and “looks” is no different than what any man (or woman) does when looking for fashion ideas (or emulating a sports icon by, ugggh, wearing a team jersey or cap).
James Bond style is not about trying to BE James Bond. Rather, it’s an appreciation for the gentlemanly look, characterisitics and practices of an icon. Personally, I prefer to follow the fashion and style of JB over wearing the baggy sport team jerseys, relaxed fit jeans and ball caps that many men seem to gravitate towards.
Truth be told, far too many men dress like slobs and behave boorish. Dave is, in his own way, bringing back the look and practices of a classic gentlman. My wife and grown daughter appreciate that the husband and father in their lives behaves and dresses like a gentleman (not a single football jersey in MY closet).
Bravo, Dave! And, thanks for what you do!

I want to share a great costumer experience with you and your community. I was looking for the new sunglasses from Barton Perreira. As I live here in Hamburg, Germany (yes, it is also a former Bond location), I was meanly looking for a online store to place a pre order for the glasses. But the official online store only ships in the US and so do all the other shops too. So I searched for a traditional store and I found one: Bellevue located near the bridge “Bleichenbrücke”. The costumer service was amazing. They researed the right frames and the right color of the lenses and I spend a nice time at their nice store.
