After more than two months “on air” so to speak, I wanted to get a pulse check from all of you who patronize this site. Although our traffic has been nothing short of incredible, I still want to make sure that the site is meeting YOUR needs. After all, this site is about you and your James Bond experiences.
So please tell me…what do you like best so far? Videos? Your Bond Experiences? Pictures?
And just as importantly, what do you want to see more of?
For example, I was somewhat shocked how popular the basic lifestyle videos, such as The James Bond Shave and the Casino Royale Haircut, are.
Do you want to see more of that and less around movie aspects?
More Frugal Bond?
We are here to serve you.
Here is your chance to steer the ship of this site to your liking!
Leave a comment below. Thanks!
More Frugal Bond please. Absolutely love the site David, fantastic work. The basic lifestyle video podcasts are brilliant.
thanks
Morgan
first of all:
fantastic work guys! i really appreciate your webpage and the love you guys share for the 007-cosmos.
mainly i enjoy watching the bond lifestyle video-podcasts and frugal bond videos (actually all stuff regarding james bonds apparel). i can not wait to see the next frugal bond video! also david getting his tom ford suit was amazing back then!
but lets not forget the bond experiences. i read all of those and was very entertained.
finally one suggestion i have to make.
may it be possible to comment on the videos? sometimes i like to share my opinion on the topics you talk about, but sadly found no real spcae to do it.
best regards
peter
Great work to all involved here, this is a fantastic website. I am a very big fan of the “Your Bond Experiences”. Whenever I get down and in the dumps or I get to a stage in my day, week, month, year where I question myself, and my path in life, I read a Bond experience or two and that motivate me to push on and continue to pursue the Bond lifestyle and pursue my goals with an insatiable tenaciousness.
Also I would definitely like to see some more frugal Bond videos. After buying a pair of the “Orbis Non Sufficit” Cufflinks my Bond budget has shrunk quite considerably. And the day to day lifestyle (Shaving, etc.) style podcasts are awesome! I definitely want to see more of those as well.
It would be cool to see some James Bond “Skill” related videos, I know Mr. Darlington does a fantastic job of it with his “Being James Bond” podcast, but maybe a few topics like “The basics of Riding a motorcycle” or “The basics of scuba diving”. That would be awesome to say the least. especially because it would be a good introduction to those wanting to look into that avenue of the Bond Lifestyle.
I apologize if some of the above material has negative connotations to it, it was not my intention, I am simply trying to give some objective feedback into what I would like to see in the future and hopefully what could be a great way to expand the variety of this already fantastically, prosperous homepage of mine.
I enjoy this website very much and get a kick out of the videos and the stories please just keep doing what you’re doing!
Splendid work so far. By far i prefer videos, i prefer “affordable” Bond-related videos, things we can try ourself. One of my favorite videos of yours are “Targeting Bond”, after which i’ve almost turned it into a sport to see how many items i can find that could pass for Bond items whenever i enter an outlet clothing store.
Personally, i want more frugal bond. I want advice on how to find bond clothing, and how to keep it (I also loved the “Packing like Bond” video). I do also like to see the expensive stuff, but knowing i’ll never have money to buy it, i prefer just seeing people talking about it. Buy a Tom Ford suit and get into the nitty-gritty details about the worksmanship, fit and feel of the suit.
-Gustav.
I’d personally like to see more videos about the fashion of James Bond. I know you did a video about Steve McQueen’s influence on Bond which I found very interesting. More videos like that would be fantastic.
Frugal Bond is also a classic.
The site is going great.
I always enjoy going to this site for the most intuitive things on Bond…….keep it coming.
More videos. More Frugal Bond. More Bond experiences. That about sums it up. I love your website David!
Dave: The website is obviously a true labor of love and is a long time coming! Personally, I like the “grooming” videos i.e. hair care, shaving, etc. along with DETAILS as to exactly what products are used, styles, techniques, etc. Many of us want to emulate the Bond “look” as much as possible so obtaining as much information in that regard as possible, helps us to shop smartly and acquire the products, etc. to look the part. The hair style video @ John’s was excellent (as is John himself) and more in-depth videos of that ilk is what I personally would like to see but I bet others on this site would also agree. The more “interactive” this site is, the better i.e. commenting, blogging, etc. Your latest “shave” video is really nice and it makes one feel as if they know you, like a good friend. So, more in that direction would be fine. Take care and keep up the FINE work, all of us appreciate it!!
Hey David,
Thank you so much for giving the Bond fans of the world another great website to discuss Mr. Bond. It’s great that there are more video podcast’s then James Bond Lifestyle (another great site). I would like, as others have mentioned, more of the frugal Bond. This was great and it was a lot of fun. Another cool thing to add would be to have more discussions with ” Head of Section” from How to be James Bond. Maybe have more discussions about different Bond movies, clothing, etc. This would be great, as I enjoy his podcast’s and this website.Another video podcast idea I think would be helpful is a introductory course on collecting items from the Bond movies. This would be really neat, as trying to start collecting Bond items/memorabilia is a daunting challenge at first. I also think having more contests would be fun, for example the Christmas photo contest, that had some great photo’s, and maybe more of those type of contests would be fun. Thank you again!

David,
I think you have your finger well and truly on the pulse of what appeals about Bond to so many ‘normal’ guys who wish to adopt elements of 007 into their lives – just without the killing, explosions, train-carriage-wrecking, etc.
Most regular guys like the Bond ‘look’ and his clarity of thought and action, but haven’t got the pocketbook to cover all the exotica that goes along with it – so more Frugal Bond please.
Love the comedy videos and also the competitions to win otherwise unattainable Bond items.
You have found a very attractive, marketable and enduring niche: Combined with your genuine enthusiasm and dogged pursuit of that unexplainable ‘essence of 007’ means you will have an eager and loyal audience for many years to come.
Well done and keep up the good work!
Great webpage and fantastic content so far!
Personally i like to see more lifestyle podcasts as pocasts about getting the bond look.
I enjoy hearing david talk about high class products, aswell as frugal bond clothing! Watching those videos I’m sitting on my pc-chair as in bonds! Also keep on going with shaving and haircut stuff! It’s very entertaining and informative!
And in the spare time between two videos keep on going with the community stuff like “your bond experience”.
All in all really enjoyable entertainment on this site.
Greetings from Romania
Melvin
David, after reading the feedback given thus far, I would have to say that the remarks made by Kael and Al sum up what I would say. You know, if someone is visiting this site daily(sometimes more than once a day) you must be doing something right!!
Yes, that someone is me!!!!!!!
Great job.
Richard
I love being able to interact with fellow aficionados. This site is a great way for us Bond fans to share our stories and learn from one another.
It appears we share the same passions. Bond, anyway.
Great site love coming here, as said by all above more frugal bond and how about some downloadable items screensavers id cards etc.
This feedback means the world to me…and I hear you loud and clear….more lifestyle vids, frugal Bond etc…wait till you see what we have coming!
Great site David…Like others I would like more frugal bond articles but just keep it going with as much new stuff as you can. I check the site a couple of times a week.
Sounds corny but I check everyday for new content and get a little smile when there is a new video or blog to view.
So, rock on!
Not corny at all….the goal is to have fresh, non recycled content EVERY DAY!
David, absolutely love the site. Primarily the videos. Also, i notice that you wear an omega seamaster PO but as a watch guy, I would love to see some videos/articles regarding the watches of James Bond.
Overall thanks so much for the site and the work you put into it. It’s a daily staple for me.
Great site and experience David!
Perhaps some polls on topics so we can vote e.g. favorite Bond, film, Bond girl, car etc etc That could be fun.
Maybe match up the clothes, gadgets, cocktails to each film? Could be time consuming but with your knowledge might be easy!
What about an FAQ with you? What is your fave Bond film, actor, sequence etc etc?
Keep up the good work!
This site is fantastic! I didn’t know about it until a few days ago, I have watched all of your videos (On YouTube) and have now caught up on here. I too would like to see more frugal bond as well as Bond workouts and style videos. Every video is interesting to watch even though I don’t have the means to do it myself I love watching. I am working on getting the bond body as well so I am excited that it is a current topic of discussion. Thanks for this David.
Love the videos an pictures most of all. The frugal bond is great for inspiration but we don’t have many of the retailers featured in the uk .Massive fan of the site keep up the great work!
David,
Thanks for this site and all the work involved in it.
Love the site Dave, one of my fav’s . I would like to see a feature that enables pictures in a post to be enlarged. T us Bond fans the devil in the details and so it would be nice to see some of these details when authors make posts.
Congratulations on the success of the site. As fall is almost here I was thinking a seasonal Bond Fashion video would help all of us. Keep up the great work!
Mr Zaritsky,
as one of the leaders of bond media, I think you should lead the rest of the bond fans in convincing certain companies to release bond products (i.e. turnbull asser bilbao necktie, shampoo etc.) These companies must understand that there is a market for these things. I refuse to wear knock offs…
David, had my haircut last week from John the barber. What a gentleman and of course gave a great haircut. Also had time for a quick tour of Newtown (great town). Hope to be back for another visit soon.
Thanks Dave for all the vids – really enjoyed my time in NYC by heading over to spyscape – would never have known if it weren’t for you – so, danke!
Only request I’d have is:
If possible, could you compile a list of place to go to and include it in one page? For example have a single page on this website with a title like (filmLocations or destinations or places of interest) and in it that page link the videos you made for the Bahamas trip, links to museums you’ve visited – like the one in Miami, a map or additional details on how to travel to Mr White’s hideaway and any other places you’d recommend for people who don’t mind traveling to go out and see.
– Hope you managed to visit Venice whilst you were visiting Italy.
I’ll also chime in with another comment and say:
Please, please, please bring back the frugal bond as not all of us are directors of pharmaceutical companies.
Aw, and before I go, are you going to post any more videos documenting your experience(s) with the Aston? There’s a guy on Youtube (Harry’s Garage) and he does trips with his vintage collection – last trip he drove from England all the way to the Arctic circle – hope you do something similar.
Anyways, ciao for now.
Anyone interested in attaining a higher, more sophisticated level of living in the realm of true connoisseurship cannot help but be attracted to Ian Fleming’s character and how filmmakers have adapted him over the years. One has only to read a book like Barry Singer’s “Churchill Style” to realize that a certain class of Englishmen have been very particular in their choice of clothes, champagne, and cigars in the quest to be who one is and to be pleased with it. David Zaritsky has done so much to help so many Bond aficionados appreciate and experience so much of this compelling character. As someone who makes the world of James Bond great fun, he’s 001 in my book, and I am very grateful for the videos you have done (help that you have received with camera work) and so much more. Thank you.
Love the site, just a shame it hasn’t been updated since 2013..we notice the youtube videos getting updated, but nothing on this site…You should either keep it updated or close it down.
