A Special "Bond"
Skyfall and the fifty years of Bond may seem like the biggest Bond event this year, but the guests of Karen and Jason Murray’s wedding on 10th March will beg to differ.
The Setting: Mulberry House, Essex
The Guest List: Main characters from the chosen bond-themed tables: Goldfinger, Casino Royale, Diamonds are Forever, The Man with the Golden Gun and Moonraker.
Every Man’s Dream: To spend the day dressed as James Bond…oh and of course to marry the women of his dreams.
The Wedding Score: Everything from Shirley Bassy to Alicia Keys.
Cocktails: Vodka martinis (served during our Bond quiz.)
Of course, nine months have now passed and I am still married and back out in the field.
Obviously I can’t tell you what I am working on.
If I did…I’d have to kill you.
What an awesome idea
The whole planning of the event was stress free and fun ,as we kept the theme from the guests to add to the surprise .The prop searching had us both in stitches ,and I am sure every time one of our guests watch a bond film now they will think of karen and I ,so bond by association that will do.
Brilliant – looking at some kind of event for our 20th anniversary in 2 years time. I now have a good idea what I would like. Only have to persuade my good wife to go along with it.

Good luck with the planned event ,can’t stress enough how much fun we had putting our big day together ,right down to spraying a Barbie gold for the table decorations ,searching for a fluffy white cat and a golden gun we didn’t have time to get nervous.It helped we were both exited by the theme and added to a truly memorable day .
For my Year 12 formal we are having a bond theme, I’m so excited but the committee is beginning to get stuck on decorating ideas etc, could you please email me some of the ideas you used to decorate your wedding with and how you overall incorporated the theme of James Bond with a wedding!
