Interesting interview but poorly executed. Would have been much better if the team had invested in a tripod to steady the shots. Trying to include the participants and the artwork in the same shots clearly did not work as the album covers needed to be viewed head on in order to fully appreciate them. Should have filmed the entire interview for the master shot and then edited into this, shots of the LP’s and “over the shoulder” shots and cutaways to the interviewer reacting to what the interviewer was saying. All of this could have been achieved using a relatively cheap home (idiot proof) editing suite. As the focus is supposed to be on the Bond soundtracks over the past 50 years more info on the artists and composers would have given the programme more interest. It would also have been quite easy to dub CD quality version of the themes over those which were playing (somewhat intrusively because of the poor sound quality) in the background. With an extra 3 to 4 hours of post production, this could have been a more polished and professional production.
