Splendid video. Those are lovely boots. Do you ever use brown polish or just the reviver? It’s true that good shoes last a lifetime. My uncle gave me his mess dress George boots. They are still going despite being older than I am!
Funnily enough, my most expensive shoes (SE Aldens, SF Islays, Ryders), I like a more beat-up “accurate” look. However, once achieved, I still use pecards and creme to keep the weathering preserved and not compromise the integrity of the boots.
However, for my tux and suit shoes, I keep these pristine as possible.
Hi David
I enjoyed the video. I use Kiwi Parade Gloss polish on my black oxford shoes. I recommend using a soft cloth and by polishing in small circles, the toe caps come up with a mirror like shine. Very Bond.
Thanks for this video, great advice in a concise, watchable format!
OK, new to shoe care; I have a pair of black oxfords with some wear and distress, namely a sort of white-ish wear to them. Are they restorable with polish and gloss?
Great video David!! Where did you get the t-shirt?

I do use the cognac creme as well…

Hi David.
Do you know or anybody for that matter know what the UK equivalent to old navy would be for some frugal bond gear?
Thanks

Great video and awesome boots!
How often do you use the Renovateur on your shoes and boots?
Good video. I’m a big fan of English shoes and a HUGE fan of Saphir Renovateur. Amazing stuff especially on Shell Cordovan shoes.
Really enjoy all your videos. Oh…the Dainite soles are pronounced DAY-NIGHT.
Thanks!
